General Agreement on Trade in Services : Examination of South American Trading Partners' Schedules of Commitments

In April 1996, the International Trade Comm. (ITC) examined the schedules of commitments submitted by nine South American countries under the General Agreement on Trade in Services: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, & Venezuela. The ITC was asked to explain the commitments in nontechnical language as they relate to 7 service industries, & to identify potential benefits & limitation that may accrue to U.S. service providers.
