Penpals for Handwriting Years 5 and 6 Teacher's Book With Ohts

All of the new elements to Penpals will be electronic. 1. The Penpals Y5/6 OHTs have been versioned for a CD-ROM. They are being sold as an insert to the Y5/6 Teachers' Guide, which has been reprinted with a new cover and sells at a new increased price of £69.95. We have discontinued the existing Teacher's Guide and OHTs. 2. We will be producing a new Foundation One CD-ROM focusing on gross motor skills and games. This will be accompanied by a new Teachers' Guide. We are also building the product with the potential to make the units of the CD deliverable as Content Packs. Penpals Foundation 1 will feature primary toolbar functionality developed in conjunction with the numeracy team as a step towards at least cosmetic similarity to the Common Toolbox. Pub date: July 2007. 3. We will be creating a Penpals Question Wizard CD-ROM. This will follow the Apex Maths model and will allow teachers to create phonics/handwriting worksheets using a variety of pre-set templates and banks of questions. Pub date: December 2007. All of these elements have been suggested by our market research and backed up by our questionnaire findings. 57% of our respondents wanted to see Penpals develop closer links with phonics.
