Dennis Brooks was a military instructor and training developer for the US Army for twenty years. When he retired he started working as a teacher’s assistant and returned to college to get a bachelor’s degree in biology. Since then he has worked as a teacher. Because of this, I started using my army experience to develop a curriculum for those students as well as kids with dyslexia, ADD and children who were learning English as a second language. In 2000, I started working as a private tutor and used the material I developed.
