In 1882, John Wesley Hardin drifted into Greentree, Wyoming. In an upstairs hotel room he was shot in the head and fell through the window to the alley below. Before his assailant could make sure he was dead, a pretty girl came along and rescued him. He couldn't remember his name or where he was from.
