As I take time to reflect on how we arrived at where we are today, I confess that having a preaching wife did not happen overnight. God used many things to bring us to this time in our lives. I never thought I would be sharing this perspective with anyone. I don’t know how many pastors have ever thought about sharing their experiences; however, I want to share this with those of you who are struggling with this issue and are not sure about how to move forward because of possible reprisal or personal trepidation. There is much heated debate over the issue of women in ministry but not much light at the discussion table.
