Place-Names of the Isle of Man

Volume 4 comprises the three north-eastern parishes of Kirk Maughold (including the town of Ramsey), Kirk Lonan, and Kirk Conchan (but excluding the town of Douglas, which will be dealt with later). The material appears in alphabetical form with discussion of any problems of interpretation, and a listing of the elements making up the names. This volume yields name-forms and elements not found in Manx literature or dictionaries.
