STEEVE COUPEAU is the co-chair of Media Access for Diversity Project housed in the Puerto Rican/Latin American Studies Department of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where he also serves as a professor. He also serves as a media consultant with the Gerson Lehrman Group Media Council. He has written several books and articles about Latin America and the Caribbean. In particular, he is the author of "Legacy of the Haitian Slave Revolt" published by Greenwood Publishing Group in the Encyclopedia of Slave Resistance and Rebellion edited by Junius P. Rodriguez.
